The City!

This is a photograph that was recently taken by me in the heart of the very famous and wealthy city I call home.... lively London.  London relates to me heavily because I was born and have lived in the city all my life.  I am proud to be British and fully enjoy the 'western lifestyle' Britain and the city of London has to offer. This entails my love of shopping/socialising which is a key aspect of my life. When on and day out in London with my grandmother recently, I photographed Tower Bridge because I think it is a stunning creation, steeped in history.  The bridge is so picturesque and although it was a freezing cold day when we walked all the way along the South Bank from Westminster to get to the icon, it was beautifully sunny which made my photographs more awesome.  I have actually visited the Tower Bridge art gallery with my mum previously and remember the views from the top being magnificent.  I have always appreciated spectacular bridges and one of my ambitions is to travel to famous cities all over the world and photograph amazing well known bridges. I love the city center! All the grand, cleverly designed buildings give London a really modern and well developed feel. This picture strongly promotes the ethnocentricity of London as people should be proud to live in such a beautiful, opportunity packed city!
